About Julie
My passion for teaching, learning and student wellbeing spans over 25 years and currently I am teaching in local colleges and privately.
In conjunction with teaching duties, I hold internal and external moderation roles ensuring quality teaching and provision is delivered in colleges throughout the southeast. I have designed, planned, delivered and marked assessments and so can focus my teaching on specific skills for exam success.
In addition to my academic credentials, I hold certificates in mental health and counselling to support the wellbeing of my students in a more holistic way. Ongoing and regular CPD ensures my knowledge and skills remain up-to-date and relevant.
I have three grown up children, 4 cats and a dog. In my spare time, I can be found walking or running on the South Downs or sipping wine in Italy during the holidays.
